I can crawl!
I started crawling a few days ago. Dad took these photos then but couldn't process them until tonight. He is lazy like that. Ignore his excuses about outpatient thumb surgery and a heavy workload.

He probably should have figured out how to use the video camera by now, don't you think?

Then again, the light was really low so it wouldn't have worked anyway. He had to shoot at f/2 and ISO 1600 just to capture this moment. Enough of this talk, though. I am crawling toward that out-of-focus toy!

Putt putt putt putt

Look, mom, I'm crawling!

Crawl crawl crawl crawl

The toy becomes less blurry as I approach it. Interesting.

Almost there....

I can almost reach it....

Even better! Keys next to the camera! Keys are always good to eat.

I can get to anything I want now! I can crawl to Brooklyn for more keys if I feel like it!

Grandpa says, " Get an SD card - or whatever the camera takes and then take the video and post it as a file." Or, better yet, send it to grandpa and he'll post it for all to see.
The camera uses the SD card only for stills. For video, you need to use tape, transfer the raw tape data to your computer, and then create a movie from that data in a movie app. There's no such thing as a movie straight from the camera.
That's my understanding, anyway, although I am only seven months old and might need to read the manual again.
Someone needs a video camera for Chanukah!
